Dover, Rollinsford & South Berwick Lions Club Awards Scholarship to Marshwood High School Senior Charlotte Smith

The Dover, Rollinsford & South Berwick Lions Club is pleased to announce that graduating Marshwood High School senior Charlotte Smith has been selected as the recipient of the club's 2026 scholarship award.

Now in its second year, the Lions Club scholarship program is open to graduating seniors residing in Dover, Rollinsford, or South Berwick. Club members were encouraged by the strong response received this year and hope to see even more applications in the future.
"The quality of the applications was outstanding," said the scholarship committee. "Each submission was independently reviewed, and selection was an incredibly difficult task. We are proud of all the students who applied and the remarkable contributions they are making in their schools, communities, and beyond. Charlotte is certainly no exception."

Lions Clubs International is one of the world's largest service organizations, with a mission centered on vision care, youth development, disaster relief, humanitarian service, diabetes awareness, childhood cancer initiatives, hunger relief, and environmental stewardship.
Charlotte's future goals closely align with many of these Lions service priorities. She plans to attend Merrimack College, where she will pursue studies in functional medicine and/or work toward becoming a Physician Assistant. Her passion for improving the health and well-being of others reflects the Lions' commitment to humanitarian service and support for those affected by diabetes, childhood cancer, and other health challenges.

In addition to her academic achievements, Charlotte has demonstrated exceptional leadership and service through her involvement in school athletics, mentoring programs, community activities, and numerous leadership roles at Marshwood High School.
The Dover, Rollinsford & South Berwick Lions Club congratulates Charlotte Smith on this well-deserved honor and wishes her continued success as she begins the next chapter of her educational journey.
