  • Dover Holiday Parade Commissions Juno Creates

The Dover Holiday Parade is proud to announce the commissioning of local artist Julia Nollet, owner of Juno Creates, to create the parade’s inaugural collectible ornament to reflect this year’s parade theme and the spirit of the Dover community.

This first-ever ornament will serve as a lasting keepsake, capturing the creativity, warmth, and festive energy that define the parade each year. Designed to align with the parade’s theme, the ornament will become a cherished symbol for residents and visitors alike, marking the beginning of a meaningful annual tradition.

In a remarkable show of generosity, Nollet is not accepting payment for her work and is instead sponsoring the commission—donating her time, talent, and creative vision back to the community.

“Julia’s willingness to give back in such a meaningful way embodies the heart of the Dover Holiday Parade,” organizers shared. “Her work will help us launch a tradition that celebrates not only the holidays, but the artists and community members who make Dover so special.”

A Dover High School graduate (Class of 2022), Nollet went on to study at the Film Connection, further expanding her creative foundation. She has become a familiar presence in the local arts scene, appearing at community events such as Apple Harvest Day and the Strawberry Festival, in addition to regularly showcasing her work at the Art Center.

Nollet is best known for her acrylics, digital art, and pencil drawings, bringing a distinctive, versatile style to each piece. She works from her studio at the Art Center, contributing to Dover’s vibrant arts community. Beyond visual art, she explores storytelling through screenwriting, film production, and direction, underscoring her range as a multidisciplinary artist.

Nollet also accepts commissions—from landscapes and pet portraits to family pieces and whimsical designs—each reflecting her signature style and attention to detail.

The Dover Holiday Parade 2026 theme was selected through a community-wide contest, with the winning theme to be unveiled soon, setting the stage for both this year’s celebration and the debut of the inaugural ornament.
