The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group (SNHUG) has received a truly unique instrument to support their upcoming fundraiser on May 3, 2026—the Second Annual New England Ukulele Festival. Sunday, December 07, 2025UKULELE GROUP RECEIVES “BEST THEME” AWARD AT HOLIDAY PARADE
The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group (SNHUG) received the “Best Theme” award for their float in the annual Exeter Holiday Parade held on December 6, 2025. Keith MacFadgen, SNHUG organizer, accepted the award on behalf of the group. Hundreds of cheering onlookers gathered for the parade which was broadcast live by ExeterTV. The entire downtown Exeter area was decorated with festive lights and the sounds of holiday music could be heard throughout the evening, including the happy ukulele tunes performed
Thursday, October 16, 2025Dover, Rollinsford and S. Berwick Lions Club “Corn Hole for a Cure” raises funds for Annie’s Angels Memorial Fund
The Lions Club of Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick hosted their Fourth Annual “Cornhole for a Cure” fundraiser on August 9 at the Dunn Farm in Berwick, Maine. Over $2,000 of funds raised was awarded to the Annie’s Angels Memorial Fund - a local charity helping New England families struggling financially through life threatening disease, illness or disability.
