Ukulele Music Festival Returns to Dover: SNHUGFEST 10th Anniversary Set for September 19
The joyful strumming of ukuleles will once again fill the air at Henry Law Park as the Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group (SNHUG) presents the 10th annual SNHUGFEST on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Rotary Arts Pavilion in Dover, NH. This free, all-day festival welcomes music lovers of all ages for a celebration of community, music, and compassion.
Beginning at 11:00 AM, SNHUGFEST will feature live ukulele performances from local and visiting bands, food vendors, raffle prizes, and interactive play-along jams—so don’t forget your uke! All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ukulele Kids Club (UKC), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides instruments and music therapy to hospitalized children both locally and across the country.
To date, SNHUG has raised over $132,000 for the UKC. “The UKC has endless gratitude for this group’s unwavering commitment,” said Marlén Rodriguez-Wolfe, Chairperson of the UKC Board of Directors, board-certified music therapist, and accomplished musician. “Their efforts help us bring music, healing, and joy to children across New England and beyond.”
SNHUG is an all-volunteer, non-profit collective of ukulele enthusiasts that meets twice a month for jams, open mics, and musical fun. Open to all levels of experience, the group also hosts a monthly open mic at Milk Street Studios in Dover. More information can be found on Facebook or Meetup.com.
