The Dover, Rollinsford & South Berwick Lions Club is proud to release its 2025 Social Impact Statement, highlighting a year of meaningful service and community investment.

In 2025, club members contributed more than 600 volunteer hours and raised over $8,000 through a successful Cornhole Tournament and other fundraising initiatives. These funds were reinvested directly into the local community through donations and service projects, including:

    • Support for Annie’s Angels
    • Support for REACH – Reach for the Top Therapy Services
    • Eye appointments and prescription glasses for dozens of local residents in need
    • Scholarships awarded to two Dover High School students
    • Support for Lions Club Camp Pride
    • Funding assistance for Marshwood student Nellie Young’s culinary education efforts in Peru
In addition to financial contributions, the Club made a significant hands-on impact:
    • Conducted more than 1,300 vision screenings for local students, identifying 205 children in need of follow-up care
    • Contributed to the restoration of Shoetown Playground in South Berwick
    • Recycled more than 1,700 pounds of plastic, keeping waste out of local landfills
    • Participated in several community-sponsored events throughout the year
As a young and growing club, the Dover, Rollinsford & South Berwick Lions Club remains committed to its mission of serving the community through vision services, hunger relief, diabetes awareness, childhood cancer support, environmental sustainability, disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and youth leadership development.

Upcoming events include the First Annual Indoor Golf Tournament on March 28 at the NE Sports Hub. A few teams are still available - https://birdease.com/golfingforacure
