Dover Holiday Parade Elects New Officers
March 05, 2026The Dover Holiday Parade Committee recently held its annual meeting, marking the official start of planning for the upcoming holiday season and beyond. During the meeting, new officers were elected to lead the organization for the coming year:
Lori Nollet (Chair), Aaron Cronkite (Vice Chair), Mayor Dennis Shanahan (Community Engagement), Bob Carrier (Communications), Michelle Routhouska (Logistics Coordinator), Angela Carter (Marketing), and Nicole Andrews (Volunteer Coordinator). The newly elected leadership team will focus on expanding community involvement, strengthening partnerships, and enhancing the overall parade experience for residents and visitors alike.
The committee also announced that sponsorship opportunities are now open for the upcoming parade season. Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved and support one of Dover’s most beloved holiday traditions.
Looking ahead, the committee shared plans for several exciting initiatives in 2026. A Parade Theme Contest will launch in April, giving students and community members the chance to help select the official theme for next year’s parade. In addition, the committee is developing a series of holiday ornaments, which will be unveiled this fall during Apple Harvest Day.
“These initiatives are all about community connection,” said President Lori Nollet. “From inviting students and residents to help choose the parade theme, to introducing new holiday ornaments, we’re creating more ways for people to feel part of the parade year-round.” For more information on the parade, sponsorships, or how to get involved, please visit www.Cochechofriends.com, The Dover Holiday Parade on Facebook or contact cochechofriends@gmail.com
