Dover Holiday Parade Announces Honorees
October 24, 2025The Dover Holiday Parade is proud to announce the honorees of the 2025 Dover Holiday Parade, to be held Sunday, November 30, 2025.
D.F. Richard Energy will serve as the Grand Marshal. A longtime supporter of the Dover community, D.F. Richard Energy has been recognized for its commitment to local causes and civic engagement. As Grand Marshal, representatives from D.F. Richard will lead the parade through downtown Dover, joining residents in celebrating the spirit of the holiday season.
“The Dover Holiday Parade is a cherished tradition that brings our community together,” said Mayor Robert Carrier. “We are thrilled to honor D.F. Richard Energy as our Grand Marshal and celebrate the company’s dedication to Dover.”
This year, Sean O’Connell and Beth Fisher will be recognized as Citizens of the Year (2024 and 2025, respectively) for their outstanding contributions to the Dover community. Additionally, the Dover Holiday Parade will honor Jon Nichols of the Woodman Museum as the 2025 Champion of the Arts, celebrating his dedication to enriching Dover’s cultural landscape. “We are so proud to applaud these remarkable individuals whose passion and service help make our community shine,” continued Carrier.
The Dover Holiday Parade, organized by Cochecho Friends, features festive floats, marching bands, and local performers. The 2025 parade theme, “Christmas Carols,” promises an afternoon filled with music, joy, and holiday cheer for attendees of all ages.
