View Personal BioSusan FordHello,My name is Susan Ford. I have lived and worked in this community my whole life with a small stint in maine for about three years. I worked for almost two decades for Strafford County Community Action doing a variety of programs that worked with the lowest income populations in our county. In 2011 I accepted the position of Executive Director for the Homeless Center for Strafford County and stayed there for 5 years until I came to My Friend's Place. This job was like coming full circle as I lived here at this shelter just over 2 decades ago with my 2 small children. I am proof that with a lot of hard work and a little sacrifice you can make significant changes for the better in your life! My children are all grown up and I even have a grandson now that I enjoy spending time with.Tell a Friend
