  • 2021 Educator of the Year - Nomination Form

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce invites you to submit a nomination for the 2021 Business, Nonprofit, Citizen, Volunteer, and Educator of the Year awards program. This is an opportunity for member businesses to celebrate excellence in their companies and an opportunity to recognize a citizen, volunteer, educator, and nonprofit who has made a lasting impact in the Greater Dover community. All awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Gala on June 4, 2021.

The Educator of the Year award is presented to an education professional currently working in a Chamber member school who plan to continue in their position next year. This individual must:

    • Have daily contact with students.
    • Employ innovative strategies to optimize student learning.
    • Make a positive contribution to the community by fostering civic participation among his/her students.
    • Demonstrate ongoing leadership in professional development activities and encourage cooperative relationships with colleagues.

Anyone can nominate an educational professional. An individual may nominate only one person for the award. Individuals may not nominate themselves. Individuals who have won in the past 10 years are not eligible to win. Current Officers and Directors of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce are not eligible to receive this award. Award will not be given posthumously.
