The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group is hosting their first ever “Paint, Sip and Play” Celebration in honor of national “Play Your Ukulele Day.” The event takes place on Thursday, May 2nd at Paddys American Grille in Portsmouth, NH beginning at 4pm. All are welcome! Slots are limited for the Sip and Paint which will be led by well-known artist and musician, Joan Turner. Joan will kick off the event teaching participants to paint a whimsical Mermaid With Ukulele masterpiece. Registration: paypal.me/TIBSBradford/35
The fun continues at 6pm with an Open Mic and jam session. Each participant will perform one song and, if time allows once all have participated, they will circle back to those who wish to do another.
Cash food and bar will be available.
SNHUG is an all-volunteer, non-profit group of ukulele enthusiasts, that meet twice-a-month to jam, practice, do open mics, and generally have fun. They're open to any and all levels of ability and can be found on Facebook or Meetup.com. To date, SNHUG has raised over $100,000 for charity as part of their mission.Images
