A cousin to cross country skiing, Nordic walking is one of the fastest growing outdoor activities. It burns 20-40% more calories than regular walking, develops upper body strength, increases upright stability, and enhances mood. Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing; equipment rental available at $9 for the course.
