Making the Most of the NH Small Business Matchmaker and Preparing Your Capabilities Statement
On December 4, 2015 there will be a major Matchmaker event at Manchester Community College co-sponsored by NH-PTAP, SBA and NH SBDC.
On October 8, 2015 (Thursday) we’re offering a workshop in Portsmouth to help you get a jump on preparing.
Matchmakers offer the most intense and cost-effective opportunities imaginable for government contractors and subcontractors and we want you to participate!
There are two ways to ruin a perfectly good matchmaker – inadequate preparation and failed follow-up.
· Know how to prepare;
· Do’s and don’ts for attendees;
· Bring effective and appropriate sales literature;
· Follow up effectively.
Making the Most of the Matchmaker
You will learn how to:
· Plan your day to maximize the opportunities;
· Do effective market research to identify your best targets;
· Learn how to make a strong, positive impression that plays from your strengths;
· Prepare a first-rate capabilities statement, the “must have” marketing literature.
Capabilities Statement Coaching
Your Capabilities Statement is the most important piece of marketing literature for selling to government agencies and prime contractors. You have one chance to get it right! This workshop will review how to prepare a competent and engaging capabilities statement, and will conclude with one-on-one interactive review of your statement.
Let us help you look as good as you really are!
Please contact us if you should have any questions concerning this event. In the meantime, we hope that you will be able to attend and we look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
NH PTAP Staff
