"I love art but, I am not an artist.” As an art teacher, I hear this unfortunate statement from so very many students when they begin a class. My message to them and anyone else who feels this way is this- It is not up to you to decide if you are an artist. It is up to those that appreciate your art. You have the capacity to create amazing things, come learn how to begin a journey into the captivating world of sculpture! About the Instructor Michael Lee: "Michael Lee is a faculty member and department head at York County Community College in Wells, Maine. As a member of the Art and Digital Media faculty he teaches in the areas of drawing, sculpting, 3D modeling, graphic design, animation and game design. Michael is a lifelong artist who grew up in his father's studio watching him paint and admiring his father's and grandfather's paintings."
