“Indie Author Day” at Dover LibraryDescription
Do you dream about writing a book? Wherever you are on your journey…from idea to published book, Indie Author Day, on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 9am to 3:30pm at the Dover Public Library, will help you to take the next step.
This free, daylong conference features speakers who will explain all of the necessary steps for writing and publishing your book. How can you turn your idea into a book? Is self-publishing right for you, or how can you find the right publishing house? How can you market and promote your book? Meet other local authors and share your successes and struggles. Authors at any stage of their career are welcome.
Our speakers will inform and inspire you. Dan Lawton is the author of four novels and an active member of the International Thriller Writers (ITW) Organization. His latest novel, “Plum Springs”, is a finalist for the New Hampshire Writers' Project Readers' Choice Awards. Linnea Hartsuyker is a full-time historical fiction writer who has just released the last book in her HarperCollins-published trilogy about the Viking Age of Exploration. Her books are currently being marketed in six other countries as well. Yvonne Vissing, author of ten books plus chapters, articles and other publications, is a professor at Salem State University.
See the complete schedule of speakers and topics on the Dover Public Library’s website (library.dover.nh.gov) under the Events tab. Please register on the website to attend this enlightening workshop, which will bring your writing and your enthusiasm to the next level.Tell a Friend
