Gundalow PISCATAQUA goes to Exeter!

THE GUNDALOW PISCATAQUA IS COMING TO EXETER!
The historic vessel will arrive on Wednesday, October 7th and stay through Friday, October 9th. Come down to the waterfront to explore the Gundalow and learn more about Exeter’s maritime history! Free and open to the public.
Did you know that Gundalows used to dock at wharves where Swasey Parkway sits today? 

 

EVENT SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, October 7
Gather around the banks of the Squamscott River and Swasey Parkway around 11:00 AM to watch the Gundalow sail into Exeter around 11:15 AM.
Dockside open ship: 2:00 PM-5:00 PM

Thursday, October 8th
Dockside open ship: 3:00 PM-6:00 PM

Friday, October 9th
2:00 PM departure & public farewell!
Friday afternoon, help send the Gundalow off in style with a public farewell & boat flotilla! Bring your kayak, canoe, paddleboard, or small vessel to escort the Gundalow out of Exeter. Launch from town dock before departure time. The Gundalow will depart Exeter at 2:00 PM. Watch the flotillla and departure of the Gundalow from Swasey Parkway.
