Description
In recognition of National Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month in May, Seacoast Dermatology PLLC is offering seacoast residents free skin cancer screenings.
Current estimates indicate one in five Americans will develop skin cancer during their lifetime.
Dr. Andrew E. Werchniak, former Medical Director of the Brigham & Women’s and Dana Farber Cancer Institute Skin Cancer Screening Program, urges people of all ages to get a visual examination of their skin by an experienced dermatology provider at least once a year. “It’s so important for people to get a simple annual screening—and it only takes a few minutes. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. Early detection and effective treatment if needed really can save your life.”
Seacoast Dermatology, PLLC is offering two free skin cancer screening opportunities in May.
Seacoast area residents are encouraged to make an appointment, but walk-in’s welcome.
To accommodate busy patient schedules, Seacoast Dermatology has also expanded their office hours to include late evenings and Saturday clinics. Please call Seacoast Dermatology at 603-431-5205 to schedule your free screening or visit seacoastdermnh.com more information.
