Believe it or not, there is a way that conservatives and liberals can agree what to do about the climate problem. It’s called “carbon fee and dividend”, which means that a fee is put on fossil fuels and all of the proceeds are returned to people. This is an effective market-based approach that doesn’t involve new regulations or special-interest incentives, and will boost the economy. Leaders from both sides of the political spectrum are increasingly getting behind this solution.
