Building the Workforce the Seacoast Needs

Connect with Sector Partner Initiative (SPI) advisors and learn about solutions to your current workforce. Circulate among employers and workforce development experts who have built critical partnerships necessary to develop your labor pool.
Educator of the Year Award
Education professionals working in a chamber member school who plan to continue in their position next year are eligible. Nominees must 1) have daily contact with students 2) employ innovative strategies to optimize student learning 3) make a positive contribution to the community by fostering civic participation among his/her students 4) demonstrate ongoing leadership in professional development activities and encourage cooperative relationships with colleagues. A $1,000 stipend comes with the award, sponsored by Measured Progress
A $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Measured Progress is awarded annually to a student accepted to a post secondary education institution. Eligibility requirements: 1) student is graduating from a chamber member school 2) works for a chamber member business 3) has a parent/guardian that works for a chamber member business.
