Dover Candidate Forums
Dover Listens, in conjunction with the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce, are hosting Candidate Forums for the Dover City Council and Dover School Board on October 18, 20 and 25. The forums will be held in Room 306 at the McConnell Center (limited to 50 in-person attendees) and will start at 6:30 p.m. The forums will also be livestreamed via Zoom and broadcast live on Channel 22. The City of Dover Municipal Election is Tuesday, Nov. 2.Forum dates:
The forums are free to attend but pre-registration is required. To register to attend any or all of the three forums in person, visit the Dover Chamber’s community calendar at www.dovernh.org/events/
- Monday, October 18: Dover City Council
- Wednesday, October 20: Dover School Board at-large and wards 1, 2 and 3
- Monday, October 25: Dover School Board wards 4, 5 and 6

To participate virtually, the Zoom link for all three forums is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/ 87300058702.At the Nov. 2 election, voters from all wards will elect the Mayor, two at-large City Councilors, and one at-large School Board member. In addition, voters in each of the six Dover wards will elect a City Councilor and School Board member and election officers, including a Supervisor of the Checklist, Moderator, three Selectpersons, and a Ward Clerk. All elected positions are two-year terms.
