Great Bay Services is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sheila K. Christie to the Board of Trustees.  Sheila will provide oversight to the nonprofit, which supports adults with disabilities in New Hampshire and Maine.

Sheila K. Christie is a Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Wealth Management Division at Bangor Savings Bank in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, focusing on trust administration and fiduciary law.

“I wanted to give back to our community and joining the board is one of the best ways I can do so; helping to enrich lives and helping all of us be the best “us” we can be,” said Ms. Christie.

Ms. Christie has developed an extensive knowledge of trusts, estate planning, and the needs of family offices from her impressive career in law and business. Founder and CEO of Cashel Fiduciary Partners, LLC, she was a trailblazer in Family Office Planning and fiduciary compliance for high net-worth clients. Prior to founding her own business, Ms. Christie was a Trusts & Estates law firm partner for many years, as well as working at Perspecta Trust LLC.

Ms. Christie is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire and Maine.

In addition to Christie, the GBS Board of Trustees includes Tim Althof, Tony Anni, Megan Callan, Beth Heyward, Steve Holland, Paul Kleinman, Pamela Lowy Layne, Lou Mello, Judith Pellowe, Kathryn Simonds, Tony Theille and Sara Janjigian Trifiro.

Great Bay Services was founded in 1954 by a group of parents who refused to send their children with disabilities to the state institutions. Sixty-five years later, GBS is still at the forefront of innovative and progressive programs for adults with disabilities in the seacoast.
