SEH Studios Art Announces New Gallery Opening

DOVER, NH - SEH Studios Art celebrates the November opening of its new gallery on Central Avenue. The studio has moved to a larger location at 456 Central Ave. in Dover with two galleries and classroom space.

Artist Susan E. Hanna invites all to the Re-Opening Celebration during Thanksgiving weekend. She will celebrate on Saturday November 25th and Sunday the 26th from 11 am to 7 pm. Visitors will enjoy special pricing, prizes, refreshments, and live music.

Art lessons will resume around November 9th with a soft opening of the art galleries expected for November 15th.

Artist Owner Susan E. Hanna says, “I’ve been looking for a Dover gallery space with street access for a few years now. When I heard this prime spot would be opening, I just pounced on it. This new space is large enough for a Front Gallery and a Studio Gallery adjacent to the classroom. Both spaces will feature my original oil paintings with some surprise visiting artists. Current students and collectors tell me they know this new location will be beautiful because I’m so particular and detail oriented.”

Hanna teaches oil painting to students of all ages and abilities. She caters to people who prefer a more private setting without a weekly commitment. Her own oil paintings are largely outdoor scenes, often on copper or aluminum panels.

As a self-taught artist who has practiced in oils for over fifty years, Hanna credits decades of actively observing her surroundings with her ability to recreate what she sees through a lens of appreciation. She often states that there is beauty everywhere if one simply looks. Many of her paintings feature local scenes not normally viewed as beautiful.

Hanna has exhibited widely in New Hampshire with additional shows and representation in Maine and Massachusetts. Her paintings hang in homes and businesses throughout the United States.
