Our Place NH Receives Generous Grant From The Fabulous Find

Our Place NH, Inc. recently received a grant totaling $9,177.77 from The Fabulous Find's generous charitable giving initiative for the month of July, along with Yoga in Action and Aids Response Seacoast. Each month The Fabulous Find is dedicated to donating the proceeds from their resale boutique back to the local community. "We are so grateful to The Fabulous Find for the work they do in our community. Donations like this make a huge difference for a small nonprofit, ensuring that we can continue to work towards our mission. Our month-long partnership with The Fabulous Find not only supports us financially, but also increases exposure of our work on the Seacoast. We would like to thank everyone who worked, volunteered, shopped and donated specifically in July, and throughout the year!" stated Maria Cousins, Our Place NH Board of Directors Member and Chair of The Development Committee.

Our Place NH, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit is on a mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities by providing long-term and sustainable housing, support services and accessible transportation opportunities that foster independence, inclusion, and a thriving community, Our Place NH was founded in 2019 by a group of parents striving to provide a much-needed service to the Seacoast community and is currently managed solely by the passionate Board of Directors, whose members have worked diligently since its inception to raise awareness and funds; build infrastructure; and collaborate with peer groups. Their first property, which will provide supportive housing for 10 - 12 individuals in Dover NH, is currently under agreement, and in the pre-development stage. Additionally, Our Place NH is working closely with a developer to secure a second property where more residents may be offered supportive services within a larger work-force development.

ABOUT THE FABULOUS FIND
The Fabulous Find is a nonprofit resale boutique supporting nonprofits. Founded in 2010 by a small group of Seacoast Maine and NH women, The Fabulous Find donates all of its profits from sales to seacoast nonprofit organizations, selected by the board each month. The resale boutique sells designer clothes, jewelry, home accessories, furniture, music, books and more. In the past 13 years they have donated over $2,000,000 to 155 plus nonprofits.
