Habitat for Humanity hires new development manager
PORTSMOUTH — Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity is pleased to welcome Jessica Hamilton as its new development manager.
Hamilton will be responsible for grant writing, corporate and individual fundraising efforts, and other activities that further SENH Habitat for Humanity’s mission to eliminate poverty housing and strengthen communities in southeastern New Hampshire.
“I am truly grateful and excited to be joining the SENH Habitat for Humanity team,” said Hamilton. “I’m thrilled to have been given this opportunity. I’ve always been passionate about helping people in need and I greatly look forward to helping improve Habitat’s sustainability and overall impact.”
Hamilton is a New Hampshire native. She joins SENH Habitat for Humanity after several years as the development manager at Southeastern New Hampshire Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services in Dover.
“I am eager for Jessica to start working with our team,” said Marcie Bergan, the executive director of SENH Habitat for Humanity. “I know she will hit the ground running. Habitat is ready for our next phase in continued sustainable growth and we are excited that Jessica is going to help drive us there. What does that mean? More funding, more homes built and more lives changed indeed!”
