SEED announces annual fundraiser
DOVER —Seacoast Endowment for Education in Dover (“SEED”), a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting academic excellence in Dover schools, will host its annual fundraiser, Encore for Education, Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Cocheco Country Club, located at 145 Gulf Road, Dover, New Hampshire. All proceeds will be used to sponsor 21st century learning opportunities in Dover public schools.
Returning sponsor, Portsmouth Regional Hospital's Dover Emergency Room Campus will underwrite the evening which will feature artists from Dueling Pianos of NH facing off for an uncommon night of entertainment. “This dynamic show will keep you laughing, singing, and dancing all evening long,” said event organizer Natalie Koellmer. “Guests determine the night's playlist but beware, the guest beside you just might trump your request!”
As part of the fundraiser, SEED will again host an online auction, which opens March 23, 2020 and will offer a variety of retail and dining gift cards, travel opportunities and unique experiences. The auction will only be open for two short weeks.
In 2011, SEED was formed to meet a need not met by the constrained school budget. Since then, SEED has made significant contributions to Dover public schools and donated more than $150,000 in grants to Dover educators. “This fundraiser lays the foundation for our ability to fulfill future learning proposals,” continued Koellmer.
The fun-filled experience will run from 6:30-10 p.m.. It will include appetizers, cash bar, auction and the ever-popular wine pull. Tickets are $75 per person and sponsorships are now being accepted. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit www.DoverSEED.org
