Dover, NH – Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce that it will once again serve as the Underwriting Sponsor for the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce’s Festival of Trees. The 10th annual Dover Festival of Trees will take place on Friday, December 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rivermill at Dover Landing. The event is free and open to the public.
Kennebunk Savings President and Chief Executive Officer Bradford C. Paige said, “We’re proud to be a part of this celebration in Dover and continue our support for an event that brings the local community together for the holidays.”
Dover’s premier holiday festival will feature more than 30 elaborate trees sponsored and decorated by local businesses, all available to be taken home through silent and live auction or raffle drawing. The event also includes live choir performances, refreshments, and a visit from Santa.
The Kennebunk Savings tree will feature the best Dover has to offer with over $500 in gift cards from local businesses. Dover Branch Manager Ashley Gibbons and her team will be creating the tree. “Our tree will be festive and keep with the theme of celebrating the Dover community and our local merchants, while raising funds for the Dover Chamber of Commerce City Lights Committee at the same time,” said Gibbons.
Organized by the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce, Festival of Trees is a fundraiser for the Dover Chamber City Lights Committee, a volunteer group of residents and Chamber members dedicated to illuminating downtown Dover during the holiday season and hanging American flags on Central Avenue during the summer months.
Kennebunk Savings offers personal and business banking as well as insurance services, and has over $1 billion in assets. Each year Kennebunk Savings donates 10% of its earnings back to the nonprofit community resulting in over $11,000,000 since 1994.
