First Seacoast Bank sponsors Apple Harvest Day as it returns to downtown
DOVER – The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Apple Harvest Day will return to downtown Dover this fall.
After being held in an online format last year due to the pandemic, the 37th Annual Apple Harvest Day will be in person on Saturday, October 2. First Seacoast Bank has renewed its support of the Seacoast’s premier festival and will once again serve as the Apple Harvest Day underwriting sponsor.
“First Seacoast Bank has been headquartered in Dover for over 130 years and we are incredibly proud to sponsor an event that brings the community together, supports local business and has a positive impact on our great City,” said Tiffany Melanson, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at First Seacoast Bank. “The Seacoast region is amazingly resilient and all of us at First Seacoast Bank are looking forward to rejoining our community for an in-person Apple Harvest Day event.”
Apple Harvest Day draws more than 60,000 people to the City of Dover’s downtown, making it one of the most popular regional festivals. It features great food, live entertainment, a wide variety of vendors, and more. The festival covers eight city blocks from Third Street to River Street and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"We're happy that we will be able to bring Apple Harvest Day to its regular format again this summer,” says Morgan Faustino, Community Events Manager at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce. “Seeing people enjoying the festival downtown was something that we certainly missed last year. It will be great to be back outside and interacting as a community."
The Apple Harvest Day 5K Road Race will also be returning to its normal format, as the race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on St Thomas Street in front of the courthouse.
