The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Loxsmith Bagels to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Loxsmith’s Main Street, Dover, location. Loxsmith Bagel serves breakfast and lunch featuring bagels made daily at their bakery in the Washington Street Mills. In addition to bagels, Loxsmith offers a full coffee and expresso bar, as well as salads, soups, chowder and chili, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, fruit cups and muffins
Loxsmith Bagels owner Holly Patterson credits her mother and grandmother for inspiring her love of baking and teaching her the craft. “My grandmother taught me her family recipe for rolls when I was 10 years old,” says Patterson, “and I also baked and sold pies with my mother to help the family make ends meet during financially tight times.”
Patterson hopes to open additional Loxsmith Bagels locations down the road. “I am confident in the product my team has created, and I believe customers will taste the difference.” As part of the company’s commitment to the community, Patterson works with local charities to give away leftover products so they don’t go to waste.
Loxsmith Bagels is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call Loxsmith Bagels at 603-507-6100 or visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/loxsmithbagelco.
