State, NH Food Bank expanding mobile pantries for SNAP recipients
The State of New Hampshire is partnering with the New Hampshire Food Bank to assist Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients affected by the federal government shutdown. Gather will distribute boxes of non-perishable food plus bags of apples and oranges from the NH Food Bank at its mobile markets. These can only be distributed to SNAP recipients. Gather's mobile market schedule for next week:
- Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1-3 p.m., Whittier Falls, Dover
- Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2-3:30 p.m., Gosling Meadows, Portsmouth
- Thursday, Nov. 6, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Municipal lot, Hampton
