DOVER, NH – The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce welcomed its newest member, Complementary Applied Nutrition, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the company’s location at 810 Central Avenue in Dover. Complementary Applied Nutrition employs techniques such as applied kinesiology, total body modification, sacro occipital technique, and nutritional response testing to address a variety of conditions including blood sugar metabolism, obesity, immune system issues, sleep disorders, digestive and abdominal complaints, fatigue, inflammation, and pain.

“Our unique approach is to help people reach their optimum health, so they can live their life to their fullest potential,” says Complementary Applied Nutrition owner Dr. Michael Blackman. “We go beyond symptom treatment to help normalize body function and promote healing. When addressing chronic conditions, whole food nutrition with lifestyle change is the foundation for health and lasting change.”

After having a traditional chiropractic practice, along with a part time nutrition/lifestyle practice, for the past 33 years, Dr. Blackman will now focus on his nutrition/holistic treatment practice full time. This allows him to accommodate new patients, expand availability and offer additional healing clinical techniques. Dr. Blackman has spent hundreds of hours learning how to use supplements, herbs and physical techniques to therapeutically support hormonal imbalances, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction, as well as many other chronic conditions.
