Development Coordinator

Community Action Partnership of Strafford County (CAPSC), located in Dover, is hiring a Development Coordinator to join CAPSC's advancement team. This position's main responsibilities include: *Managing our donor database, Raiser's Edge *Processing donations (both monetary and in-kind) for the organization *Sending out weekly acknowledgement letters to donors *Conducting ongoing reporting of donations that come into the organization *Serving as the main point of contact for volunteers and in-kind donors who are interested in volunteering or donating items to support CAPSC's many programs *Tracking volunteer hours *Collaborating with all of the programs at CAPSC to ensure their donation and volunteer needs are met *Providing special events support to the advancement team, which includes two major events: the CAPSC Classic Golf Tournament and our Annual Meeting *Providing administrative support for the Advancement Team, which includes the Chief Advancement Officer, Marketing and Communications Manager, and Manager of Annual Giving We are looking for someone with the following qualifications: *High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced office setting managing multiple duties *Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in fundraising, volunteer management, sales, finance, marketing, communications, or other relevant field preferred *High level understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel *Raiser’s Edge experience preferred, but not required *Must be deadline-driven and possess a strong attention to detail *Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of constituents on behalf of the organization, including donors, volunteers, staff, clients, and others *Team-oriented and flexible style with the ability to achieve a high level of productivity and success *Ability to coordinate, organize, and prioritize work This position is hourly, and the range for the position is $20 to $23/hour.
