    Job Description

    HRCU is seeking an experienced professional to manage overall operations at our main branch.  To be successful, the person in this position must be dynamic with excellent interpersonal skills and the drive to handle multiple facets of the business.  We're looking for a bright and energetic individual who will help execute our vision of "facilitating financial success and financial wellness" with every member, every time. 


    One of the primary means to achieve this end is to develop a highly effective team of employees and develop each employee to their highest potential through coaching and leadership.  The branch manager will be responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members.  A key component of this service is to identify the financial needs of the member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. This will require daily effective coaching of all employees.


    Provides direction, training, and oversight to all branch staff ensuring the highest quality of service to members, maximum productivity and attainment of goals while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.



    Education: A two-year related college degree or a minimum of four years experience managing a branch in substitution of a degree.  

    Experience: Five years minimum of experience in a member service, lending, or operations role within a credit union or financial institution that encompasses a broad knowledge of products and services. Experience supervising employees is required. Demonstrated managerial experience required.  


    Skills: The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is required.  Must be able to under deadlines, be efficient, and multitask with professionalism.  Confidently manage staff and work strategically to build new relationships.  Adaptability and teamwork is a must.
