    Enhance office and team effectiveness by providing support related to day-to-day operations of office systems, accounting and data management related to managing the Amtrak Downeaster and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.   

    Responsibilities:

    Support staff by contributing administrative efficiencies in office management and assisting in developing and maintaining reporting systems as needed.
    Produce reports and data management for a variety of operational functions and projects on a regular and ad hoc basis. 
    Assist with the development of systems to streamline data collection, storage and reporting.
    Maintain files, data management systems and administrative technologies.
    Assist with accounts payable and other accounting functions.
    Develop and maintain document control and tickler systems. 
    Undertake other administrative tasks and projects as needed.

    Skills and Qualifications Required:

    Associates or bachelor’s degree required
    3-5 years if experience in administration or systems management and working with strong computational skills
    Ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors
    Proven working experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, detail orientation, and mastery of Microsoft Office (including EXCEL), and other statistical, accounting or reporting packages.
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information clearly with attention to detail and accuracy
    Ability to make independent decisions and to seek out new methods to incorporate into existing practices when applicable.
    Eagerness to participate in a team environment and actively interested in learning from challenges and opportunities.
    Ability to handle stress and deadlines.

    Salary:

    Salary range is $35,000 to $45,000 based on experience.
