• Faces of Dover

  • The Faces of Dover NH Committee has been working for over a year to renovate the existing historic markers in Downtown Dover. These markers were first erected in 2000 by Dover's Main Street Program, but time and New England weather have damaged them. The committee, made up of local citizens, plans to replace and supplement the markers with solid fiberglass panels that are virtually maintenance free.

A photo example of the revised makers can be viewed at the Dover Public Library, 73 Locust Street, in the storefront window at 542 Central Avenue, or in the cafeteria on the lower level at the McConnell Center, 61 Locust Street all in beautiful Dover NH.

This project is largely being underwritten by Dover Main Street, but the Committee is in need of approximately $5000 in additional funding to complete and install all 27 markers.
