National Tequila Day at Cinco's!

Head to Cinco's Cantina for National Tequila Day, a time to honor Mexico’s heritage!

Did you know that real tequila can only be made from Blue Weber agave, a plant grown primarily in the Mexican state of Jalisco? Unlike many spirits that are made from grains, tequila begins with agave plants that take 6-8 years to mature before they’re ready to harvest. Once harvested, the agave hearts (called piñas) are slow-roasted to bring out their natural sweetness, then crushed to extract the juice.

That juice is fermented, distilled, and depending on the style may be aged in oak barrels for months or even years before it reaches your glass. From field to bottle, every sip represents years of patience, craftsmanship, and tradition. That’s definitely something worth celebrating!
