Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month this November by learning about the 20,000 years of culture and traditions of the Abenaki people. Dover Public Library will be joined by Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:30 PM for “Indigenous Peoples of the Northeastern Woodlands.” The talk explores the native cultures of the Northeastern Woodlands and includes a digital tour of the museum, artifacts, and a discussion of the history of tribes in the area. This is an in-person event with the option to watch virtually from home.
