Did you know… nearly 1 in 5 U.S. adults live with a mental illness?
Mental Health First Aid will teach you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This program includes common signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance use, how to interact with a person in crisis and connect them with appropriate care and how to administer naloxone in the event of an opioid overdose.
This full-day training event will give you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care.
Who should attend? Employers, HR Professionals, First Responders, Faith Leaders, Community Members, Hospital Staff, and Caring Individuals.
