Business Open House October 2024: Granite United Way

Join the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and host Granite United Way for an evening of networking. 

Bring plenty of business cards and enjoy an evening of networking with friends and colleagues. Light refreshments will be provided by our hosts. 

Discover how you and your workplace can make a lasting impact in the local community. At this event, you'll learn about the incredible work being done in the Greater Seacoast:

• Local Impact: Learn how Granite United Way donations support and strengthen local nonprofits, with a focus on lifting grassroots and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) focused organizations.

• Community Partnerships: Learn about Granite United Way’s collaboration with local childcare and youth focused agencies

• Ways to Get Involved: Learn how you and your workplace can partner with Granite United Way through fundraising campaigns, volunteering, or donation drives.

Our host is inviting participants to participate in a food drive for ShareFund’s Thanksgiving meal kits. These kits will be distributed to families in Strafford County. Last year ShareFund, Seacoast Food Providers Network and Community Action Partnership of Strafford County collaborated to provide 1000 Thanksgiving meals to Strafford County families. With a significant reduction in donations and funds from the NH Food Bank, we are rallying around these nonprofits to help bridge the gap this year. In addition to food items Hannaford gift cards are also appreciated to help purchase turkeys.
