DESCRIPTION:Virtual Workshop: Exercises for the Quiet Eye with Annie Storr\n\nThursday\, Sept 17\, 12 p.m. \n\n\n\nScholar\, museum educator\, and art historian\, Annie Storr has developed a series of guided looking techniques designed to foster reflective looking\, a mindful relationship between art and viewer\, and a tolerance for ambiguity in life and art (EQE).\n\nJoin us as Storrs leads a virtual workshop using imagery from the current exhibitions\, Enrico Riley\, The Blues in Me: Witnessing Love and Impact featuring works by Victoria Elbroch\, the 2019 award recipient\, and Shaina Gates and Mary O'Malley\, finalists of the prestigious Piscataqua Region Artist Advancement Grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.\n\nIn this free online workshop learn new ways of experiencing art through a series of adapted exercises formatted for virtual participation. Open to all faculty\, staff\, students\, artists\, and community members. Reservations required. Limited to the first 30 participants for each workshop.
