SUMMARY:Vegetable Printing: Cut\, Carve & Print at Aplomb
DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on two-hour workshop\, participants will explore two different approaches to vegetable printing. First\, we will cut vegetables to reveal their natural contours\, textures\, and internal patterns\, using those forms directly as printing tools. We will then transform vegetables into simple printing blocks by carving designs into them. Through demonstrations and hands-on experimentation\, participants will explore ink application\, pressure\, repetition\, layering\, positive and negative space\, and composition. The emphasis is on play\, experimentation\, and discovery. Participants will create a collection of prints while learning techniques they can continue exploring at home. No previous printmaking experience is necessary.
