DESCRIPTION:Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kalle Matso\, Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership (PREP)\, The School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering\, University of New Hampshire on Wednesday\, September 28 at 5:30 at the club.\n\nBring a picnic or something for the grill and learn about the great work PREP is doing in the Great Bay Estuaries\, our cruising back yard\, and maybe even learn how we can help further their mission to improve water quality and environmental conditions in our watershed.\n\nIn the meantime\, Kalle has sent(below) a video that was taken in the river just outside the mooring field near the club and for comparison purposes\, a video on the Maine side-\n\nHere's our side:\n\nhttps://unh.box.com/s/fb8derrs7hv5nnwewt6r6emd6y7ss6nw\n\n As Kalle says\, "There's one eelgrass shoot in the sampling quadrat. Just imagine if that whole area was covered with eelgrass? All that great habitat for fish and invertebrates!\n\n For example\, here's a video taken from a site just down the river and on the Maine side from you.
