SUMMARY:Pastel Flowers Course at Aplomb
DESCRIPTION:July\, 20\, 27 and August 3\, 10\, 2026 1:30-3:30 PM for adults/13+. Join Danielle in person at Aplomb Gallery or virtually for a watercolor course with a focus on drawing flower references with one stem\, a bouquet\, a flower box and a meadow! Each week\, we'll work from different references while Danielle instructs techniques including introducing water with soft pastels\, while fostering a supportive and mindful creative environment. For one class we will use sand paper\, Aplomb will provide. Suggested materials: (or use Aplomb's for $15) Graphite pencil (H or HB)\, gum eraser\, soft pastels in primary colors\, pastel pencils\, watercolor brushes (small round\, medium flat\, large flat and watercolor paper 90-120 lb cold press(textured) or hot press(smooth). For any questions on materials\, email danielle@theaplombproject.org. 50% of this course's proceeds go towards supporting The Aplomb Project's mission\, a 501(c)3 organization uplifting trauma survivors through art. At Aplomb Gallery\, all courses\, workshops\, and meetups are trauma-informed.
