DESCRIPTION:Join us for an enlightening and empowering forum dedicated to learning how businesses can support the mental well-being of their employees and how to foster a supportive workplace for individuals in recovery. We'll explore substance use disorder and recovery in the workplace\, its impact on the workforce\, and how the business community should respond. We'll also discuss how developing an open and transparent environment are positive steps towards addressing mental health challenges with employees.\n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker: Mickey Wiles\, Founder and CEO of Working Fields\n\n\n\nMickey Wiles is the CEO and Founder of Working Fields\, a mission-driven staffing agency that helps individuals overcome barriers to employment and build stable futures. He has had a long career in the private-sector business community where he held various leaderships roles starting with a Boston area high-tech firm. In Vermont Mikey continued in leadership roles with Ben & Jerry's\, Seventh Generation and Burlington Labs. Prior to starting his business career he served six years in the United States Navy.\n\n\n\nMickey is a person in long-term recovery and was provided a second chance after spending time in federal prison.
