DESCRIPTION:Bid winter a final farewell and welcome spring by joining your friends and neighbors on Saturday May 6\, 2017 for Dover Pride Clean Up Day. A few hours of time and some sweat is all it takes to make downtown Dover look it's best for the upcoming summer season!\n\n\n\nThe Dover Pride Clean Up event starts with a pancake breakfast served by the Kiwanis Club of Dover NH at 8 a.m. in the Cochecho Mill Courtyard\, 421 Central Ave. From there\, we'll move out to our 14 locations for the remainder of the morning\, cleaning\, raking\, edging\, sweeping\, pruning\, spreading bark mulch\, picking up trash and planting flowers. At noon\, a complimentary pizza lunch (donated by Kendall Pond Pizza and Coca-Cola of Northern New England) will be served back at the courtyard as a thank you for all your hard work. If you would like to take charge of a site\, please sign up as a SITE LEADER!\n\n\n\nThis is a rain or shine event\, so please be prepared for the weather. Feel free to bring tools from home (rakes\, brooms\, shovels\, wheelbarrows\, work gloves\, etc.). Be sure to put your name on any tools you bring. \n\n\n\nAs always\, community volunteers are the key to the success of the project.
