DESCRIPTION:BigFish Learning Community will be hosting an open house from 3-6 pm November 21st\, in Suite 240 of the McConnell Center\, located at 61 Locust St in Dover\, NH. They invite community members to meet students and staff\, learn about what it means to be a self-directed learner\, and check out projects and ideas presented by the students. BigFish is currently accepting applications for new members. Be sure to ask for membership materials. \n \n\nThe event is free and interested parties can drop-in at any point between 3 and 6 pm.\n\n(603) 617-8339\n\ninfo@bigfishnh.org\n\nBigFish Learning Community\n \n\nBigFish is a learning community for youth 13-19 who want to live and learn outside of conventional school. Members choose when to attend\, what classes to take\, and what specific guidance and mentorship they require. Self-directed learning is promoted by helping youth make a plan that supports who they are and who they want to become.
