We will discuss sharing vs. preserving\, the risks of not doing anything\, the 4-STEP archiving process\, the difference between archiving and digitizing\, back-up methods\, and most importantly\, you will see samples of all the fun & meaningful preservation projects that can easily be accomplished after photos and material are organized and digitized. Session Two: Bring your bags and boxes of photos and enjoy a self-serve station with coffee and tea while we help you through an actual hands-on session of sorting & organizing photos. You will use the 4-STEP process\, introduced in Session One\, which can then also be continued on your own until your entire photo collection is organized & archivally stored.
