SUMMARY:Apple Harvest Day 2015
DESCRIPTION:Apple Harvest Day normally begins with a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning\, and also features a popular apple pie baking contest\, with prizes being awarded. In 2014 we celebrated our 30th Anniversary with almost 400 vendors lining the streets of the downtown area\, the event is highlighted by 5 stages of music\, dance and theatrical performances for all ages. Carnival games\, rides\, raffles\, traveling barnyard and pony rides are part of the fun and a variety of fun Carnival Food is plentiful at the Food Courts.  The community makes this event a tradition to attend and there are typically 60\,000 on a sunny day.  You'll see in the picture below that even a day that is overcast and rainy still attracts a crowd.\n\n\n\nVendor Registration:\n\nVendors wishing to join the 2015 Apple Harvest Day Festival\, should print the 2015 Vendor Application Form and 2015 Vendor Rules and Regulations below.\n\nRead and complete all areas of the application and sign the Rules and Regulation Form.  Submit these with your Certificate of Insurance and checks payable to GDCC "Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce."  To pay by credit card\, vendors can click the "Registration" button above\, but will still need to send in the signed 2015 Application\, Rules and Regulations Forms with their Insurance Form.\n\n\n\n2015 Vendor Application Form\n\n2015 Vendor Rules and Regulations to be signed and submitted with the Application Form\n\n\n\nVendors selling Food and Beverage items (including just apples) must have a City of Dover Food Permit. FREE Samples do not require a permit. \n\nPlease download the City of Dover Food Permit Form\, complete it and send to the Health Officer listed on the form.\n\n\n\nVendor Insurance Information\n\nA standard requirement for vendor space is to provide proof of general liability coverage from an insurance company in good standing with minimum policy limits of $1\,000\,000 per occurrence. If you do not have this coverage in place\, we have made arrangements for all of our vendors to acquire this coverage by purchasing as part of a group.  Please click the link below\, complete a short questionnaire and you can pay by credit card to obtain this coverage for $65 plus tax.
