DESCRIPTION:2025 State of the City Breakfast Forum\nJoin the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce for an update and discussion about the Waterfront District Development. Deputy City Manager Christopher G. Parker will provide an overview of the city's involvement with the Waterfront District Development while Jackie Huber of Cathartes will provide the update from the developer's side of the project. Following the presentations we will have a panel discussion with Q&A from attendees.\n\n \nBreakfast will be provided by Great Circle Catering.\n\n \nMeet our Panelists:\n\nChristopher G. Parker\, City of Dover\n\nChristopher G. Parker has worked for the City of Dover in a variety of roles for 28 years. His current role as the Deputy City Manager allows Chris to lead various strategic initiatives related to the community master plan and public/private development opportunities. A Dover native\, Chris holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of Southern Maine in urban studies and planning and community development. He has served on the boards of several nonprofits\, including Dover Main Street\, the Gundalow Company\, and is currently a board member with the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce. \n\n\n\nNorm Fracassa\, Cochecho Waterfront Development Advisory Committee (CWDAC)\n\nNorm Fracassa joined the CWDAC in March 2015. In February 2023 Norm was voted in as the new chair for the committee and continues to hold that role. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island\, Norm holds degrees in landscape architecture and photography. He is the owner of Fracassa DesignWorks\, a Dover-based design/build landscape company. Fracassa DesignWorks has donated its services to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire for the past 16 years\, and also donates landscaping services and supplies to Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity.\n\n\n\nRob Simmons & Jackie Huber\, Cathartes\n\nRob Simmons is a seasoned real estate development professional\, currently holding the role of Director of Development at Cathartes. In this position\, he oversees various aspects of development\, such as acquisitions\, entitlements\, and design and construction. With more than 17 years of experience\, Rob has a solid track record. He has played a pivotal role in bringing to life over 700 housing units\, 500 hotel rooms\, and 50\,000 square feet of commercial space. These projects have a combined value of over $800 million.\n\n\n\nJackie Huber is Director of Asset Management at Cathartes\, where she oversees multifamily and mixed-use portfolios. With over 13 years at the company\, she's been instrumental in establishing and growing the multifamily asset management division. Jackie's expertise has led to the success of 600 residential units and 50\,000 square feet of commercial space\, solidifying Cathartes' reputation in real estate.\n\n\n\nEvan Hennessey\, Stages \n\nDover native Chef Evan Hennessey opened Stages at One Washington in March of 2012 with his brother Jared Hennessey. Since then Chef Evan has received numerous awards and honors including being named a James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef Northeast and has competed on Food Network's Chopped\, winning 3 times. Stages has gained many accolades such as the Award of Excellence from the Chaine des Rotisseurs for outstanding food & service\, as well as named to the 100 Best Restaurants in North America List by Opinionated About Dining eight years in a row. Chef Evan is the first commercial tenant for the Waterfront District Development. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration fee is $20.
