What's a Schmooze?
Merriam-Webster’s
Online Dictionary defines “schmooze” as “to chat in a friendly and
persuasive manner especially so as to gain favor, business, or
connections”.
Based on the
feedback of Chamber members and the public, the “schmooze” segment of
the event was highly beneficial for their businesses and they made
great connections with other business leaders from around the region.
In response to this positive feedback, this year’s Seacoast Chambers’
Schmooze will focus on the “Schmooze” portion of the event and provide
Chamber member sponsors, exhibitors, attendees and the public the
opportunity to effectively connect with hundreds of potential business
partners in just three hours.
This event will
feature “free-networking” and facilitated networking opportunities
with exhibitors and attendees, as well as hors d’oeuvres from a
variety of local restaurants, and a cash bar.
This year’s event will deliver the opportunity
for only 32 businesses to highlight their products and services
through an 8’ x 6’ exhibitor space, which will be granted on a
first-paid basis. You must act quickly if you would like to be one of
the 32 exhibitors!
