unanimously to recommend that Chambers of Commerce in
The program includes health insurance from Patriot Healthcare, dental insurance from Northeast Delta Dental, life, long-term and short-term disability, and dental insurance from Genworth Financial, and third party administration will be handled by CBA/EBPA. This program is only available to Chamber members and will only be sold by insurance brokers who are active members of their local Chamber. The value of the program is that it provides employers with a consolidated quoting process for health, dental, life, and short-term/long-term disability insurance. The goal of the combined offering is to not only save them money on their insurance premiums, but it will save them time through consolidated enrollment, membership changes, billing, and a single ID card for the benefits that they offer their employees. Administrative efficiencies will be achieved through the use of a third party administrator for Section 125 services. And, customized wellness programs will be offered through the program that will provide additional discounts on the employer's premium. Local Chambers are in the process of organizing informational seminars so that their members can learn more about the program.
