POLITICAL ANALYST DEAN SPILIOTES ON “...Description
Are you looking for firm ground in this roller-coaster year of Presidential politics? The Seacoast Memorial Lecture Series is proud to present Dr. Dean Spiliotes of Southern New Hampshire University discussing and analyzing “Election – 2016: Where We Are Today.” This event is free and open to the public. Everyone -- Democrat, Republican, Undecided -- is welcome. Please join us on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 1:30 pm, at the Durham Evangelical Church, 114 Dover Road (Route 108), Durham, NH, to learn more about the issues, trends, and prospects of the fast-approaching 2016 Presidential election. Dean Spiliotes, the founder of the political blog, NHPoliticalCapital.com, is a veteran political scientist and political analyst with broad expertise in presidential politics and policy, campaigns and elections. He provides political commentary and analysis for local, national, and international media outlets, including appearances as a regular guest (and sometime host) on NHPR’s “The Exchange.” Dr. Spiliotes is the author of Vicious Cycle: Presidential Decision Making in the American Political Economy. This is the first of two lectures in a special series, bookending the election. On Tuesday, November 15, 1:30 pm (same venue), we will welcome Dr. Dante J. Scala of the University of New Hampshire, speaking on “Election – 2016: What Just Happened.” The Seacoast Memorial Lecture Series is a public service presentation of the Active Retirement Association (ARA). The ARA is supported by annual dues from its 300+ members who represent 35 towns and cities in southern Maine and New Hampshire.
